CRScanner.com - Digital Recordings

     Along with providing streaming audio, CRScanner.com also digitally records all audio received from the tuned airwaves. All recordings are stored by YEAR/MONTH/DAY, and then by individual time-of-day based MP3s whenever 2+ seconds of audio is detected, or continually when the RCMP repeater is up.

Occasionally, various "event" type recordings may be made available for public access on this page. Such events might include events heard in the news media, or specific eventful days of the year.

All other digital recordings are accessible by a strict authorized access only policy. To enquire about full access or specific digital recordings, please submit a message on our Contact Us page. Please note that due to bandwidth constraints, requests for recordings are not advised unless absolutely required. Specific dates and times are required to retrieve specific recordings.

NEW - 7/11 Convenience Store Armed Robbery (2008/11/19 01:49)

     Just before 2AM in the morning of Nov. 19th 2008; the 7/11 convenience store at 2nd avenue and Dogwood was robbed by firearm. The following is a recording beginning with the initial emergency alert tone at 01:50:36AM. The events continue over the course of an hour with a police canine track which ultimately could not locate the male suspect.
